Pre-Sales Manager



  • To be recognized as a “trusted advisor” by our prospects and customers in your defined territory
  • Propose plans and solutions that cover the challenges of securing confidential data and regulation
  • Ensure the satisfaction, support and adoption of our solutions for customers
  • Maintain technological leadership in the data protection segment 
  • Understand how to clearly position REGDATA in relation to the competition
  • Act as the client’s advocate when a technical problem may arise and ensure the follow-up until its closure  
  • Identify and document the practical cases covered by our RPS solution (RegData Protection Suite)
  • Generate opportunities (including calls to prospects) in Switzerland and Europe
  • Obtain meetings with C-Level contacts: CSOs, DPOs, CIOs, C-levels
  • Search, encourage, and save new contacts within the CRM 
  • ake responsibility for responding to commercial proposals and/or offer requests: RFPs and RFIs 
  • Contribute to establishing marketing brochures (ex. practical cases)
  • Coordinate various pre-sales activities such as: demo, roadshows and participation in events 
  • Able and interested in traveling 40% of the time in Switzerland and Europe
  • Function based in Europe or Switzerland


  • Successful experience in a Pre-sales function in Switzerland and European markets
  • 5-15 years of experience (cold calling, complex RFP writing, …) 
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, data governance, and security 
  • Fluent in French, and English (oral and written) 
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Voluntary and determined attitude to achieve sales and opportunity objectives
  • Persevering, focused, and results oriented 
  • Ability to build trusting relationships over time with clients
  • Good understanding of the challenges of data protection and regulation 
  • Experience in the installation, configuration and administration of data protection-governance solutions 
  • Strong analytical skills to estimate the level of maturity of governance and data protection of our prospects-customers
  • Competent in time management
  • Past experience in indirect channels where the sale is done through partners
  • Ideally strong experience in Pre Sales activities in the following segments: Cyber Security, RegTech SaaS, Fintech SaaS, Data Governance Software, Public/Private Cloud 
  • Previous experience in a start-up and or Scale-up is an advantage 
  • Master or Graduate Degree in IT, Marketing, Sales
