Technical Business Analyst

REGDATA is looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Business Analyst in Geneva, Switzerland (hybrid).

As we continue to grow and expand our offerings, you will enhance our BA team and drive the collection of customer requirements for our secure data protection platform.

As our new Technical Business Analyst, you will join the REGDATA teams and become the seam between the software users and the software developers.

Description

Job location: Geneva, Switzerland (hybrid)

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Starting date: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform complex analyses and design to meet business requirements (users’ business needs).
• Prepare software requirements and specification documents (Software Requirements Specification, Software Design Specification), use cases and test cases for new applications, or carry out modifications to existing applications.
• Work with the QA teams, providing testing scenarios and performing initial testing by evaluating the constructed product against the use cases, user interface design and test cases, to ensure the product meets the stated acceptance criteria.
• Identify and communicate project and design risks to the project manager (safety, performance and compliance issues).
• Facilitate knowledge transfer by presenting the results of all analysis and deliverables to project teams.
• Train and develop other software analysts and customers as required.
• Optimize internal processes.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates on tasks and job estimates to your supervisor and project management as necessary.
• Comply with Operations department methodologies (requirements collection, and similar).
• Provide post-implementation support and work with customers as required (configuration, testing).

PROFILE, QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Working knowledge and experience of software technology, broad business knowledge and computer programming experience.
• First experience in a similar position, ideally working in an international company or a private bank.
• Strong analytical skills in XML and JSON, in use with Fiddler, Postman, SoapUI and similar tools.
• Proactive, very well organized and structured.

• Problem-solver: breaks complex problems into parts and proposes possible solutions.

• Strong communication and influencing skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Fluent in English and French.
